First, coolmath now I do want to apologize for not writing for so long! The last few weeks have been very busy! I'm not too sure where the time went, to tell you the truth! Now I do not try to remember coolmath everything now I do've been doing in the last few weeks so you get an idea of what now I do've been doing!
It was really nice to see you all before Christmas. I really enjoyed answering your questions, and I hope that you also enjoyed hearing a bit more about my time here in Plauen! She moooor nice to be home for Christmas. Just spending time with my family and friends are lovely! I think I've mentioned in the last post that my cousin had a baby in November, and I was so pleased coolmath to meet her at last! It was hard to leave everyone coolmath again so soon, especially as I had to travel back on the 2nd of January so start learning again on the 3rd, but soon I settled back into my life here in Plauen!
Before I talk about what now I do intend coolmath to do in the coming weeks, now I do want to mention briefly some of the things I did before the Christmas break. I said in the last post I wanted to visit the Christmas market in Nürmberg with Sarah. We had a lovely time there, and it made Sarah decided to create a video of the day. The following week, I went to Halle to see one of my favorite bands, 'Die Wise Guys'. (I think I have mentioned the gig of a sudden when I came to school.) coolmath THE first time I heard the Wise Guys in classes GCSE German Mrs Davies! We did not listen to a song called 'Denglisch' and now I do've been a big fan since that! (If you get a chance, listen coolmath to 'Denglisch'- I think the words have been written in a very clever way!). Anyway, it was amazing night! I went to see the Wise Guys with three of my friends who studied in Leipzig (not very far from Halle). During the gig, we had two latest CDs from the band as we've traveled bella 'to coolmath see them! Then, after the gig, we had the opportunity to meet with them to take pictures and have a chat! It really was a great night. I've managed to make a little video of the gig Wise Guys and the trip to Nuremberg. Unfortunately, it's in English (that Sarah can not speak Welsh, obviously!) But I hope he does give you some idea of the atmosphere.
At the beginning of February I was genna'i two weeks of half term! Although we have only been back in school for four weeks, the half-term is very nice! In the first week Jon came to visit me. We did spend the first few days here in Plauen. Then we spent the day in Dresden coolmath and Leipzig two days before finishing the week with two days in Berlin. It was a really good week. Now I do absolutely love Dresden. There is so much history there and it's a very pretty place. While we in Dresden we had the opportunity to visit the 'Militärisches Mueseum'. The place was huge and it was there so much to see and read there! To see and read everything it needed a lot more time, but we managed to see most of the exhibition and it was very interesting. In addition to the museum, we visited the Frauenkirche and we went to the top of the tower to get lovely views of Dresden total. Dresden
In Leipzig, we meet Mike, a friend of mine who is also studying at Bangor and spent her year abroad studying in Leipzig. The three of us went to see the statue Völkerschlachtdenkmal a monument to the memory of nations battle in 1813 on the second day, Jon and I went to visit a museum Stasi. So now I do have already mentioned, I have a great interest in the history of the DDR, Stasi museum visit was so fascinating. Jon and me in front of the Völkerschlachtdenkmal
This time it was the second time for me and Jon visit Berlin. The last time we went to visit many historical museums (Berlin has so much history that quite recently, so there it is very interesting and easy to spend all day in a museum different!). This time, Jon was keen to go to a museum technology. Again, the place is HUGE but very interesting! They had a story about the first computer, how trains have developed, brewery and many, many more! After two days in Berlin with Jon, it was time for him to go home. On the same day, my parents came to visit me in Berlin. The intention was to spend a few days in Berlin, then the rest of the week in Plauen, but unfortunately the girl I live with has turned a bit nasty, so we decided not to stay in Berlin for a whole week .
It was a wonderful week. Because my parents are not in Berlin before, I showed them the most popular places such as the Brandenburger Tor, the Reichstag, Eastside Gallery, Checkpoint Charlie and the Fernsehturm. We went also to the DDR museum (the second coolmath time I was there) and the
