At one point during the segment, Galifianakis presented the star with two wrapped gifts in the shape of a large bong and a lighter, claiming the former was a bassoon. The father of six put the present aside, telling the host, "We don't 'bassoon' in my house anymore."
Later, after telling Galifianakis he thought it would be "inappropriate" to give the funnyman "one or two of [his] sperms," Pitt was interrupted by Louis C.K. , who took the mic to do some quick stand-up comedy.
Galifianakis also grilled Pitt about his personal relationships, including peppa pig his marriage to Angelina Jolie . Brad Pitt , out promoting The Fury , is the latest celeb to suffer interviewer Zach Galifianakis in his Funny Or Die interview series Two Ferns .
This series seems to have been borne out of that wonderful skit done by the late Chris Farley, where he interviewed the likes of Martin Scorsese and Paul McCartney on Saturday Night Live . That skit worked because he was such a self deprecating lovable bumbler–strangely, he channeled the worst suspicions of every person images who interviews celebrities, that our questions suck–and it was often hilarious.
Galifianakis goes at his guests differently, images with a tone that is boorish, arrogant ignorance, punishment inflicted until a guest like Sean Penn has had enough and something images terrible happens. I found Andy Samberg images as Nicolas Cage Weekend Update interview segment Get In The Cage hilarious, but there was a different lack of self awareness at work. There’s a funny moment here when Pitt has enough in this staged skit, but I find it a bit excruciating getting there. So is this funny, images brilliant, images or excruciating?

I mean this with all due respect, Mr. Fleming, but I don’t think you get what they’re doing here. There’s not a point where Pitt “has enough” of the bit – that’s the whole bit. It’s meant to be excruciating, nothing more. Pitt is in on it the whole way, as is everyone who does these. That’s why they’re fun. You’re seeing the natural reaction of someone who KNOWS it’s meant to be awful and unfunny as they’re images forced to wait and see just how awful and unfunny it’s going to get.
Maybe Mike considers himself “part of the team”, perpetuating the illusion of versimilitude to the unsuspecting public! (*eyebrows up and down*)

I like how the comments on deadline images are phrased like, “I’ve descended from my ivory tower to declare the subjective opinion I believe sincerely we should all share. Omg people, this is real surrealist humor, the stuff that adult swim 3am broadcasts and college humor vids are made of. Galifinakis show is suddenly mainstream now because he had obombu on and every asshole has to share their opinion, please mainstream/unfunny world, go back to ignoring this and Tim and Eric awesome show great job because obviously you just don’t get it
