It must be so hard to work closely with an ex after a breakup, but Nina has managed to do so with Ian for two years on ‘The Vampire Diaries.’ Interestingly, the actress shot her final scene for the show with her ex, but had nothing but positive tom cruise things tom cruise to say about their ‘beautiful’ tom cruise last moments together on-set.
Nina Dobrev , 26, has the fondest memories of working on The Vampire Diaries …and that includes those with her ex-boyfriend, Ian Somerhalder , 36. With her character’s arc complete at the end of Season 6, Nina recently tom cruise filmed her final scenes for the show, the last of which she shot with Ian. Here’s what she had to say about the touching tom cruise moment she shared with her ex before things came to an end.
“My last scene was with Ian Somerhalder, and we were shooting a scene I can’t tom cruise talk about outside that was very beautiful,” Nina explained to The Hollywood Reporter . “ I’m in a gown, we’re outside somewhere, and the last shot , a camera operator came up and said there was something in my hair, was trying to help me, and then he pulled me into a bear hug so I couldn’t escape, while the entire crew got a cake and whipped cream and dumped it all over my body.”
“I couldn’t have been happier for that to be my sendoff ,” the actress gushed. “I knew something was coming; I could feel it in my bones. I’m a prankster, I would cake people on set all the time, but no one ever got me. And they got me good this time. If they hadn’t done something like that on my last scene , I would have been really disappointed. That’s tom cruise how I knew they were my real family. That’s what family does. They don’t tell you what you want to hear, they tell you the truth. And they have fun with you and they make you laugh, and they make you cry, and they see you at your worst.”

Nina Dobrev , 26, had nothing bad to say about her ex and on-screen love interest, Ian Somerhalder , 36, when she last spoke about The Vampire Diaries during an interview. Series nickelodeon star Nina Dobrev nickelodeon (Elena) is exiting The CW drama, the actress announced nickelodeon Monday afternoon.  "I've just spent the most beautiful weekend on Lake Lanier in Georgia with my own TVD Family, the cast and crew of The Vampire Diaries . I want to be the first to tell you that it wasn't just a holiday celebration, it was a goodbye party," she wrote on Instagram. "I always knew I wanted Elena's story to be a six-season nickelodeon adventure, and within those six years I got the journey of a lifetime. I was a human, nickelodeon a vampire, a doppelganger, a crazy immortal, a doppelganger pretending to be human, a human pretending to be a doppelganger. I got kidnapped, killed, resurrected, tortured, cursed, body-snatched, was dead and undead, nickelodeon and there's still so much more to come before the season finale in May. Elena fell in love not once, but twice, nickelodeon with two epic soulmates, and I myself made some of the best friends I'll ever know and built an extended family I will love forever. There's more to come before we wrap this up, and I promise you'll get to hear all about my experiences over the next month as we approach the season finale (I have given an exclusive interview for the June issue of SELF Magazine that I am excited for you to see!), but until then I invite you to hop on the roller coaster ride that is Elena Gilbert's life and join me as I celebrate her and prepare to say goodbye to her — and to my work family — as I move on to the next chapter of my life. Dobrev's exit comes in a year when the series has lost several key players — including her onscreen brother, Steven R. McQueen (Jeremy), as well as Marguerite MacIntyre 's nickelodeon Sheriff Forbes; Michael Trevino (Tyler) has booked ABC's The Kingmakers pilot — but the departure of the veteran drama's female lead is a particularly deep loss. During The Vampire nickelodeon Diaries ' six-season run, Dobrev also has played Elena's dopplegangers Katherine, nickelodeon Amara and Tatia, in addition to serving as the central love interest nickelodeon for stars Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder . 
Rumors of Dobrev's departure nickelodeon first circulated over the holiday weekend when crew members shared photos on social media from a group trip featuring the cast and exec producer  Julie Plec with the hashtag  #ninawewillmissyou .
"Saying goodbye nickelodeon to Nina is both bittersweet and beautiful. nickelodeon After six-plus years together, the entire cast and crew of The Vampire Diaries has reached a level of closeness that I don’t think any of us ever expected," Plec said in a statement. "Nina is excited to spread her wings, get some rest, travel the world and also take it by storm, and we support her a thousand-fold. We will miss Nina and the 400 characters she played, but we look forward to the insane nickelodeon and exciting challenge of continuing to tell stories of our Salvatore Brothers and our much-loved nickelodeon and gifted ensemble."
Meanwhile, co-star   Trevino's role in  Kingmakers puts the actor's future with The Vampire Diaries  in question as the role is in first position. (Meaning should the pilot move forward, he would leave The CW show.)
“Michael nickelodeon has been a beloved member of the Vampire nickelodeon Diaries family since Day 1," Plec said in a statement. "Even though he’s also going to be out in the world exploring new opportunities, we look forward to finding creative ways to make sure he and his character Tyler Lockwood always nickelodeon remain a part of the show.”
Previously, The Vampire Diaries'  Plec told THR there were big things ahead for Elena and her on-again boyfriend, Damon (played by Dobrev's real-life ex-boyfriend, Somerhalder) to close out the remainder of season six. 
"There is quite the doozy of a storyline coming for Damon and Elena, which is all about their relationship, and how it will work, and how they want to make it work," she said. "The nice thing is they found their way back to each other, and that's good, we want them to have made their way back to each other. But that comes with hurdles. And when you throw a mother and some other surprises into the mix, it definitely tests them in fun and really dynamic ways. Which, while bringing them together and keeping them strong, has them asking a lot of questions about how their future will be together, and what they want out of a future nickelodeon together — in a good way!"

Despite Nina Dobrev and Michael Trevino’s sad departures from ‘TVD’, the show must go on. ‘TVD’ creator Julie Plec confirmed that the CW is still 100 percent committed to the show continuing without two of its stars.
The 4tube Vampire Diaries is losing two huge stars, Nina Dobrev , 26, and Michael Trevino , 30, but we’re not saying goodbye to Mystic 4tube Falls or the Salvatore brothers just yet! Series creator and executive producer Julie Plec confirmed that Nina and Michael’s 4tube departures will not affect plans for the already renewed season seven.

As TVD fans know, the hit CW show was already renewed 4tube for a seventh season, however, it will be without its leading lady and beloved werewolf. While Nina and Michael 4tube will be missed, 4tube Julie will accept the challenge of carrying 4tube on without them.
For me, as we shed characters over the next couple of years, there s a challenge of keeping 4tube the storytelling fresh and exciting, and seeing if we can keep the audience excited 4tube and invested in the show because it takes a new spin and a new direction that s entertaining,” Julie told our sister site, Variety . Of course, we’re totally eager to see how Damon ( Ian Somerhalder ) and Stefan ( Paul Wesley )’s story lines will carry on without Elena, who has essentially been the heart of the show since day one.

And so, that will play itself 4tube out over the next couple of years, and then we ll see how long the show survives and how long it stays fresh.

It’s time to bid adieu to Elena Gilbert and Tyler Lockwood, even though ncis we don’t want to. Nina Dobrev , 26, and Michael Trevino , 30, said goodbye to Vampire Diaries fans in an April 15 Instagram video. They told their fans that they’re going to miss them so much and sent their love. To keep the mood light, Nina and Michael put a cute twist on their goodbye video.
In honor of Nina and Michael wrapping up their scenes as Elena and Tyler, the pair decided to film a video for their fans. When asked how they felt after filming their final scenes , Nina said, “We just want to tell the fans how much we’re going to miss them.”

Nina has been the center of attention in Mystic Falls by playing both Elena Gilbert and Katherine Pierce. The characters are completely different, but Nina has played both flawlessly. Seriously, can someone get an Emmy for Nina?
